Product & UI/UX Design

Interfaces people love

Overview

Built to work in the real world

Beautiful screens that no one can use are just expensive decoration. We design products the other way round: research first, then flows, then the interface — so the polish sits on top of something that actually works for the people using it. You get design grounded in how your users think and what your business needs, not in a designer's portfolio ambitions. Every screen earns its place by moving someone closer to what they came to do.

We treat design as a system, not a series of one-off screens. That means a component library your engineers can build against, accessibility baked in rather than retrofitted, and design decisions documented so they survive past the initial launch. We prototype early and test with real users so the expensive mistakes surface in Figma, not in production. What you receive is a coherent product experience and the design infrastructure to keep it consistent as you grow.

Use cases

Where it delivers

A few of the ways teams put this to work — each one something we can scope and ship.

Product discovery

User research, journey mapping and problem framing that align your team on what to build before a line of code is written.

Interface design

End-to-end UI design for web and mobile apps, from information architecture to pixel-level, accessible screens.

Design systems

Reusable component libraries and design tokens that keep your product consistent and speed up engineering.

Brand identity

Logo, typography, colour and voice systems that give your product a coherent, distinctive presence across every touchpoint.

How we deliver

A path from idea to production

The disciplined path we follow on every engagement of this kind.

01

Research & discovery

We interview users, audit competitors and map journeys to ground the design in real behaviour before we sketch anything.

02

Structure & flows

We define information architecture and user flows, then wireframe the key paths so we agree on structure before visuals.

03

Prototype & test

We build interactive prototypes and test them with real users, iterating on friction points while changes are still cheap.

04

System & handoff

We deliver polished screens as a documented design system with specs and tokens your engineers can build against directly.

Deliverables

Everything you walk away with

User research findings and journey maps
Interactive high-fidelity prototype
Complete UI screens for all core flows
Reusable design system with components and tokens
Brand guidelines and asset library
Developer handoff specs with accessibility annotations
FAQ

Questions, answered

Do you do research or just visual design?

Both, and the research comes first. We won't design screens on assumptions when a few user interviews can tell us what's actually true. If you already have solid research, we'll build on it rather than repeat it — but we won't skip the step that keeps the design honest.

Will the design actually be buildable by our engineers?

Yes — we design with implementation in mind and deliver a documented system, not just static mockups. Components come with specs, states and design tokens that map cleanly to code, and we're happy to work directly with your engineers during build. Handoff is a collaboration, not a wall we throw files over.

How do you handle accessibility?

Accessibility is a design constraint from the start, not a compliance checkbox at the end. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA — colour contrast, focus states, keyboard paths and screen-reader semantics — and annotate them in handoff. Building it in early is far cheaper than retrofitting it later.

Can you work from our existing brand?

Absolutely. If you have an established brand, we design within it and extend it thoughtfully where the product needs patterns your guidelines don't yet cover. If your brand is thin or dated, we can evolve it as part of the engagement — we'll scope that explicitly rather than quietly redesigning your identity.
