About the project
Black Owned Charlotte Inc is a directory platform we designed and built to help people discover and support Black-owned businesses across Charlotte, with search, categories and business profiles.
The challenge
People in Charlotte wanted an easy way to discover and support Black-owned businesses, which were scattered and hard to find in one place.
Our approach
- Built a searchable directory with categories and detailed business profiles
- Designed discovery flows that make finding local businesses simple
- Delivered a responsive React platform on an ASP.NET and MySQL stack
